*Highlights*
The Socktoberfest Flickr group is growing in number, as well as growing in photo submissions. It is a great way to see the creative work of your fellow Socktoberists, as well as discuss the patterns, yarns, and techniques in the discussion forum. I will share highlights from the Flickr group on a regular basis, because I don't want you to miss them! Click on the pictures to go to a larger image, some have descriptions and details. If you have further questions about the yarn, pattern, etc., please direct them to the sock creator with the links that I have provided. Thanks!
Now sit back and be inspired!

OMG, you have made my day! So many lovely socks!
As part of my Socktoberfest celebration, I have just added a new photo album to my blog- I’ve taken some time to compile all my socks knit in the past year or so, and put them in a little album. Just one of the many sock-related things I hope to accomplish this month. BUt my pics are nothing compared to the lovely ones shown here! Wow!
Wow, look at all the awesome socks! How inspiring! I’m going to have to get cracking with my socks now…and I’ll be momentarily posting my sock history for Socktoberfest as well!

totally inspired. now can you explain to my boss why I have left work for the day? I am not sure she will understand why I need to go play with pointy size 1 needles and yarn…
I am so honored to be included in the Highlights. I’ve been inspired by Socktoberfest and it’s helped to keep me in line. There are so many projects calling my name but I’ve stayed true to my Socktoberfest goals.
I just LOVE that picture of all the walking socks. That is one of the most creative knitting pictures I’ve ever seen.
How awesome! Thanks for showing us all the lovely socks! I just found Cookie’s BFF pattern she is offering for free in honor of Socktoberfest! In case anyone else didn’t know about it, here is the link:

Thanks so much for including me among the highlights! We had a great time setting up our shoot and luckily, did not loose any socks to drivers-by! (It’s nice to live on a dead end street sometimes! Handy for those knitting pictures!)
