Beautiful color for your Cherie! And that reminds me of the Somewhat Cowl – only an elegant version of it and with sleeves… Boy, was I slim not so long ago… :-/

BTW, how are you doing on your fitness/nutrition plan?
I try to follow your steps but each time I lose the weight I get it back quickly… Aaargh!

Of course you should bring an extra project! All knitters bring more than they can possibly knit on. You’ll probably have Cherie finished or close enough. Hope you and Kris have a great time and can’t wait to hear about your trip.

Lolly, have a wonderful trip, I wish that you were coming up to Eugene, OR! I would love to meet you. I would take another project possibility with me to make sure I had enough to pick from. What if I didn’t want to work on one? Then I would have the others there ready to go. I like to have something challenging, something easy, something exciting, a variety…. And then there is always what you pick up on the trip! I just got back from a trip to Seattle via train and I loved it, knitted my heart out. It is SO fun! Have a great time, Karen

Slobber, that’s the Rowan Vintage Knits book! …drool, slobber… I can’t wait to see how Cherie comes out. But don’t do *too* much knitting on this trip – leave plenty of time for sight-seeing and wine-tasting, too!
