Holiday Relaxing

Published by lolly at 12:39 am under Holidays / Events, Strawberry Swirl

…Much knitting was done over the Thanksgiving holiday…

Holiday Relaxing

Here's a view of me (and my Strawberry Swirl socks) relaxing and knitting on mom and dad's sofa. They decorated for Christmas after the holiday, and my socks seemed to fit in well with the Christmas theme! Maybe they could be Candy Cane socks for December :)

Mom and I were both stitching away after the Thanksgiving meal. Mom, who learned to knit last Thanksgiving, is now jumping into the wild world of cables, and she is off to a great start.

Stay tuned for knitting progress!

Hooray cabling Lolly-mama! Looks like she’s got it down. Is she going to make me a purple sweater now?

Gorgeous socks! I’ve just embarked on my first pair inspired by gems like these.

It’s so so lovely that you taught your Mum to knit. Mine is showing lots more interest in knitting again now that I rave about it every time I see or speak to her, I hope she’ll take it up again it’d be so great to sit and knit together.

    Hooray for knitting :)

Way to go on the cables, “Mom”.

I sort of cheated on my first cables just this last month when i made two pair of “Fetching”. That was my intro.
