The gray days have been pretty fitting lately: I have been sad. I got news on Tuesday that my sweet grandfather passed away. I was very sorry to hear this news, and while it was expected to come soon, it was still hard to digest. I take great comfort in the fact that he is at peace now. He will be greatly missed. Kris and I will be traveling to Alabama tomorrow for his funeral and for some time with my family. He would be happy to know that we were all together and happy.
Ohhhh. I’m sorry about your grandfather. Prayers to you and your family. Enjoy the time together, sad as the occasion is…your grandfather knows he is bringing all of you together, and I know that brings him joy.
