Filling my Heart with Glee
Lest you think I only talk about knitting…
Glee has seen a lot of face time lately.
I predict a finished top in the next few days… this baby seems to be flying off of the size 5 needles. And she is a lovely periwinkle blue, even though these photos suggest otherwise.
A few more inches of length, a picked-up neckband, installation of hook-and-eye closures, and a little length to the sleeves.
Voila.
Spring is on the way, and this is going to be the perfect piece to usher in the warmer days!
And I am already thinking about another Zephyr Style knit for next month’s PS color scheme… what say you?

looking good
Looking good! I love those sweaters… definitely on my to-knit list.
Yes, yes, yes! You should definitely knit Rusted Root. I just finished mine and it was such a fun knit. And it would be LOVELY in that pink tone! Your Glee looks great, by the way. Can’t wait to see the finished product!
Wow, you rule.
Love the ‘Glee’, can’t believe how fast you are!
Glee is looking fantastic… and after seeing how wonderful it is turning out for you, I am considering maybe buying the pattern and trying it myself! Do you think it would make a good first full sized sweater (I’ve made shrugs a plenty)?
I think it’s a really cute pattern and that you should go for it. Looks like a winning combination.
And Glee is gorgeous! I can’t wait to see the finished project.
beautiful! it’s a great color combo… i loved knitting rusted root (am wearing it right now actually!) and your glee looks so great!! i mean look at all the exclimation points i’ve been using!!! haha finish up and show us
Is that the “Silky Wool”?
Oh, i hope so because it’s really looking lovely and i finally cast on for Deb’s vest in SW…also usind size 5’s. Hmmm. Interesting.

I’m loving the photos of Glee, Lolly! I just love things that are off-centered. Probably b/c I can relate
. Anyhoo, I always drool over the Zephyr Style patterns, but I’ve yet to buy any. You may have just twisted my arm, though…
I’m so behind in reading blogs, but it looks like you’ve been having a great time with family and friends! And Glee is looking great (though decidedly not Periwinkle in the photo!)
Looking good so far. I have Ms Marigold and Glee on my “to knit” list and the yarn already in my stash. Hopefully they will fly of my needles soon too.
it’s all coming along nicely, I love your color of your next project.
Those Zephyr folks are doing really well since you posted photos, I bet. I bought Glee, and also Green Gables. GG’s neckline detail fascinated me, and it’s on the needles in Lilac. Yes, Spring is coming and we need to be ready.
GG is for daughter, but Glee will be next, for me! Am thinking about closing the fronts sooner, higher, so I won’t have to deal with hook/eye closures. Your work is beautiful, as always.
Looking gorgeous already!
Time to plan for my future PS appropriate projects too
Great progress on Glee - can’t wait to see it!
Glee is looking great and I’m in love with Rusted Root. The Zephyr patterns are so lovely.
Both tops are wonderful choices!! All of your projects come out gorgeous - I don’t know how you find the time to do all that you do - you’re an inspiration girl.
I want a wall that color in MY apartment!! Such great contrast with your Glee.
It’s spring time knitting for sure! The glee tee is looking really good - Can’t wait to see it all done!
Oh I say go for it! I love Glee, she looks marvelous!
The fabric for Glee was so light and drapey. It will be perfect to wear in the springtime, perhaps whilst walking among the cherry blossums? I love Rusted Root and it will definitely look great in that color. BTW, I finished the body of my Ms Marigold last night, so she should be finished up soon! Yay, we can zephyr it up together! I’ll just need to figure out how to crochet, ugh…
thats looking great, I hae started a zephyr KAL at zephyrstyle.blogspot.com if you fancy joining, is for any of there patterns…mainly as I fancy doing a few of them!!!
It’s lookin good! Rusted Root would definitely be my choice for another Zephyr knit. I’ve been eyeing it myself, but have soooo many other projects in the wings. Can’t wait to see how yours would turn out.
Hey Lolly, a friend of mine just knitted the Rusted Root and it looked great! The Glee is coming along nicely!
Glee is looking great - still love that color blue, it’s going to look great on you!
You are almost there already! Glee is going to look so good on you.
Zephyr style is pretty.
Beautiful all around! Glee looks lovely, and Rusted Root will look beautiful in that bright pink Dale!
I love both of those patterns. Great PS choices!
Great sweaters! They are both nice choices.
Yes! Rusted Root is adorable…you should for sure knit it. And Glee is looking good girl. Keep it up.
The off-center cable is sheer genius! And in orange no less! I would pay alot of money for that at a store - beautiful work!!!
You are a machine, Lolly! I love the sweaters you pick out! I’m kind of itching to do a sweater myself, so maybe I’ll follow your cue.
nice! I look forward to seeing that one in person when I’m down!
yes, yes! to the next piece… it is beautiful!
my spectrum knit is so close to done… hope to make it before the end of march!
Yay! glee is looking fabulous.
I love Rusted Root.
That is great choice for the next colour selection!
Glee hee hee! It’s looking great, and I think I’ll probably be starting my RR around the same time as you.
*pets everything* Glee looks great, and that pink is so tempting!
Defintiely do it! I’ve been wanting to make that one for myself for a while now. You have excellent taste in patterns, you know.
Perhaps my blogging inspiration will be peaked by your beautiful Glee!
Glee is looking great! I’m looking forward to seeing it finished.
Rusted Root is such a wonderful pattern. A perfect choice for your next PS project. It’ll be lovely in pink.
Hey, that’s just what I was thinking! In fact, I just picked up the yarn for a Green Gable today…
Now that is what I call some fast knitting. It is in the most beautiful color and will surely be one of your favorites to wear I bet!
