Filling my Heart with Glee

Published by lolly at 6:45 pm under Glee Tee,Project Spectrum 2.0

Lest you think I only talk about knitting…

Glee Progress Front view

Glee Progress

Glee has seen a lot of face time lately.

I predict a finished top in the next few days… this baby seems to be flying off of the size 5 needles. And she is a lovely periwinkle blue, even though these photos suggest otherwise.

A few more inches of length, a picked-up neckband, installation of hook-and-eye closures, and a little length to the sleeves.

Voila.

Spring is on the way, and this is going to be the perfect piece to usher in the warmer days!

And I am already thinking about another Zephyr Style knit for next month’s PS color scheme… what say you?

Yes, yes, yes! You should definitely knit Rusted Root. I just finished mine and it was such a fun knit. And it would be LOVELY in that pink tone! Your Glee looks great, by the way. Can’t wait to see the finished product!

    Wow, you rule.
Love the ‘Glee’, can’t believe how fast you are!

  5. Saraon 12 Mar 2007 at 7:36 pm

Glee is looking fantastic… and after seeing how wonderful it is turning out for you, I am considering maybe buying the pattern and trying it myself! Do you think it would make a good first full sized sweater (I’ve made shrugs a plenty)?

  6. spriteon 12 Mar 2007 at 8:25 pm

I think it’s a really cute pattern and that you should go for it. Looks like a winning combination.

And Glee is gorgeous! I can’t wait to see the finished project.

I’m loving the photos of Glee, Lolly! I just love things that are off-centered. Probably b/c I can relate ;) . Anyhoo, I always drool over the Zephyr Style patterns, but I’ve yet to buy any. You may have just twisted my arm, though…

I’m so behind in reading blogs, but it looks like you’ve been having a great time with family and friends! And Glee is looking great (though decidedly not Periwinkle in the photo!)

Looking good so far. I have Ms Marigold and Glee on my “to knit” list and the yarn already in my stash. Hopefully they will fly of my needles soon too.

  12. eyeleenon 13 Mar 2007 at 12:05 am

it’s all coming along nicely, I love your color of your next project.

  13. Petuniaon 13 Mar 2007 at 6:54 am

Those Zephyr folks are doing really well since you posted photos, I bet. I bought Glee, and also Green Gables. GG’s neckline detail fascinated me, and it’s on the needles in Lilac. Yes, Spring is coming and we need to be ready.
GG is for daughter, but Glee will be next, for me! Am thinking about closing the fronts sooner, higher, so I won’t have to deal with hook/eye closures. Your work is beautiful, as always.

    Looking gorgeous already!
Time to plan for my future PS appropriate projects too ;)

Both tops are wonderful choices!! All of your projects come out gorgeous – I don’t know how you find the time to do all that you do – you’re an inspiration girl.

  20. Traceyon 13 Mar 2007 at 10:28 am

Oh I say go for it! I love Glee, she looks marvelous!

  21. Jennaon 13 Mar 2007 at 11:13 am

The fabric for Glee was so light and drapey. It will be perfect to wear in the springtime, perhaps whilst walking among the cherry blossums? I love Rusted Root and it will definitely look great in that color. BTW, I finished the body of my Ms Marigold last night, so she should be finished up soon! Yay, we can zephyr it up together! I’ll just need to figure out how to crochet, ugh…

  22. cairi rosson 13 Mar 2007 at 12:32 pm

  32. Amyon 14 Mar 2007 at 9:26 am

You are a machine, Lolly! I love the sweaters you pick out! I’m kind of itching to do a sweater myself, so maybe I’ll follow your cue.
