Great idea! The yarn really is cooperative when it comes to posing -- so many potential models are always waiting quietly for their portraits. Thanks for mentioning the Yarn Cake Portraits group. It must be why the membership exploded all of a sudden a few weeks ago. :-) Oh wow — I didn’t realize that you had a “yarnography” category on your blog! Great idea! I started making the Independence Top from the April 2007 Interweave knits with it - though, as usual, I modified the pattern a lot. This is probably one of the few patterns though where it will come out looking pretty similar to the picture, with the exception of the color and yarn. Nifty yarn. A bit drying on the hands.
