i was just looking at that cashmere cowl as the perfect project for the most amazing yarn at my lys. it's this classic elite cashmere that comes in colors as yummy as yarntini. i think it has like 8 plys. your cowl and the still-cold spring we're having in the northeast are inspiring me to go for it!

All of those yarns are scrumptious!
I have some black cashmere that I bought last year at MSW that feels like pure heaven. With about 700 yards, it will definitely be a lovely shawl. I did an inventory last year and have it all in an Excel spreadsheet that I refer to for projects and update as I finish a project. It's also great just to see how many skeins of a particular yarn I have to see if I have enough for small projects.

Luxury... I have some Anne waiting for me. And some Fleece artist and some Helen's Laces. Only problem is that they are so pretty that I don't know how to use'm up yet. :)

Ooh, they all look gorgeous and I love the colors. I've just placed an order for some hand-dyed silk yarn from a shop on etsy--I can't wait to get it!

I love the colors in your stash...We obviously have similar tastes ;-) And these skeins are gorgeous. I can actually feel them just by looking at your photo.

The most luxurious yarn in my stash is the 400 yards of corriedale that I dyed and spun myself (there are some photos on my blog)...the colors, the texture, the twist...it's all special to me, especially since there's none like it anywhere else in the world. I think it's going to become a modified Lady Eleanor.

On a totally different topic, have you checked out the Ripple Along? It's been tempting me. The colors in your stash would make a gorgeous throw! If only one could afford to make an all-cashmere ripple throw...

Mine is Fleece Artist sock yarn. It's so beautiful that I can't envision wearing it on my feet, but so far it has resisted being anything else.

Ooh, any of those skeins would be divine for the cowl! The cashmere on your neck would just be pure bliss. Then we can be cowl twins, yay!

My most luxurious yarns would probably be the silk/mohair/wool blends my dad recently got me as a birthday present from artfibers. Man oh man are they ever divine! I've already got a project in mind for one...
