Fresh and Green

Published by lolly at 5:27 am under Health and Wellness, Project Spectrum 2.0

This week has been all about green for me.  On Sunday, I bought about 15 lbs. of (mostly) green vegetables at the market.

Greens!

On Monday, Kris and I started our green garden.

Container Garden!

Each day since, this little garden and all of these vegetables have played a big role.  The vegetables have been the base of my detox diet (in its sixth day - tomorrow is the last, unless I plan to continue) and I have mixed up some amazing concoctions.  I have tried vegetables that I have never tasted before.  Expanding my horizons!

Vegetable Broth Brewing

As for the garden:  it is going to be a busy summer!  We planted a plethora of healthy greens, herbs, and flowers.  Good eats and pretty pictures to come, no doubt!

Seed Packs

Ahh!  The weekend is nearly here!  There was something I was supposed to do tomorrow and Sunday, but for the life of me, I just can’t remember…   hehehe!

If you see me, please do say hello.  I would love to meet and greet :)

I’m on my way to the farmers market, and these beautiful photos are good inspiration to avoid the donut stand. For once.

You’ve definitely embraced the concept of healthy living. I’m very interested in organic foods and detoxification. Are you on a particular plan for the 6-day detox?

Have fun this weekend. I am so envious (it’s actually beyonw words).
WE DON’T HAVE *ANYTHING* LIKE THAT DOWN HERE!!! :(

Wish I could have met you at the S&W. There were so many people! Congrats on your weight loss. It’s so hard. Trying to do it myself and just can’t seem to stick with it. I would love to hear more about your program and will read your page. Keep up the good work!!!

Look at those lovely silver markers - those are great.
Have you grown cauliflower before? Was it successful? Any tips to share?

I’ve been crazy and haven’t found time to read my favorite blogs lately–but am so glad to be back. I’m thrilled to see your greenery and can’t wait to hear about your experiences at Sheep and Wool!
