    Oh Andrew Bird. What fun!! I saw him open for Nickel Creek a few years back. His whistling always amazes me.

    Ooooh, I LOVE Ethiopian food, too! (I’ll stop jealously drooling now..) Sounds like you had a really great weekend! I did some MAJOR wallet damage this past weekend on a BIG LYS tour (if you are interested take a look at my blog for the marathon details….:)

    That rose is luscious! It sort of looks like an heirloom-type rose with the slightly ruffly edges….

    I adore the 9:30 club. I went there for the first time last year (to see They Might Be Giants) and I was shocked when I got inside. I thought that the outside of the building is so understated, especially considering how nice the interior is. Or maybe that was just me.

    we have similar music tastes :) damien and andrew!! saw damien on may 13 in KC. absolutely amazing show.
