I will be driving south this afternoon for a long weekend
with my little sister, Mimi.

Mimi
She lives in a very quaint little town on the coast of North Carolina. We have plans to hike and bike some of the areas we discovered during my last trip, and explore more of the historic parts of the town. I am hoping for some nice photography weather… because I have a secret finished knit to photograph on its intended recipient!
My Whiby socks are making the trip with me… and I will spend my drive contemplating my next sweater project… I am a little disallusioned with the camisole I recently started (the row gauge is drastically off) and for some reason, my mind is thinking about warm wooly stashbusting projects.

I have the yarn for all of these… which one should I pick?

have a great trip. I vote for Syncopated Ribs. I love the construction of it and the yarn looks soft.
the others: I worked with Lopi, and while I loved the end result- I would not pick it up in the summer, unless I lived in Iceland.
I’ve awarded you with a Rockin’ Girl Blogger Award!
I vote for Sync. Ribs because I think the construction would be interesting enough to counteract with the boredom of knitting ribs. I would like to see some real world knitting on this one.
Sad to hear about the cami. Which way is the gauge going? Would it be an easy fix with a change of needle size? Maybe there is something else wrong with it.
It’s so hard when you have a crush on a pattern which later turns out to be a bad love affair! My first crush was on Banff. I was new to seaming and that’s what killed it for me. Since the pattern was a Raglan it showed off my inability to seam. I’ve had a little practice on seaming since then, so I’m thinking about busting it out of the UFO pile and re-seaming it to see if I can make amends.
OMG, I love the Lopi sweater. In fact, the kit for it is sitting in my closet. Maybe if you start knitting it, I will too?
Nordic Memories… it seems like the best for fall weather.
Nordic Memories…I am knitting this in Jamison and I love it, but it’s taken a back seat to many many socks…..I need a motivator!!
I vote for Easy Street Pullover. I am a big fan of Malabrigo and the combo will be fabulous! Happy Knitting.
I vote for the sweater that is second from the left. I like that one best.
