I can't wait to make some of the fancy stockings and mittens! I love the one you chose - and I think the colors will work well together. I don't know if I want to read the book so soon, because I don't think I want it to end! I did see the movie over the weekend, it picqued my interest in knowing how it all gets wrapped up. Thinking about knitting mittens seems to be very foresighted to me - you'll be ready when the cold winds start to blow. I'm thinking about some mittens, too as my aunt requested some as a gift, so you're not the only one. That is so cute that you read to each other like that.
