you have such a great eye! i love your favs! I think you need to start some mittens ;-) But I can’t wait to see your hoodie either!

I really like how you did the mosaics of your favorite inspirational photographs, Lolly! And, I can see WHY they inspired you. I especially adore the fair isle mittens in the lowest right hand corner.

Keep up the feverish knitting on your Street Smart Hoodie! I look forward to seeing it modeled soon.

What wonderful collages! I have to figure out how to do this.

I’m actually in the middle of reading The World Without Us. I saw it in the bookstore a few months ago, couldn’t justify buying it so I put a hold on it at the library. It finally came in and I am completely enthralled. I love his use of imagery to really convey how easy it would be for nature to take over again. I’m only midway through, but I love it.

My husband told me about that book. He also heard about it on the radio and was instantly fascinated. Good Christmas prezzie idea!

I love your Monday favorites and after seeing this weeks, I feel even more privileged to have been part of one. :) This will motivate me to finish my Socktoberfest socks some day.

Can you give a brief explanation of how you do those photo grids? I am dying to figure that out. ;o)

I always love your mosaics and find great things in them. It was so nice to see my giraffe in this one!

I really enjoyed The World Without Us, and also heard about it on Science Friday! They actually had him on a couple of times talking about different aspects of the book. It’s one of my favorite podcasts since I always seem to miss the show on the radio – I love that they let you download just the parts of the show that interest you…

Thanks for the Mosaic Maker link! I was wondering how one makes those.

Aw, sweetie! It means so much to me that my shot is in there. In fact, I’m getting kinda misty here. What is wrong with me!?
