Congratulations on your Interweave Knits article! I am not a subscriber but pick it up at the newsstand every time it comes out. Yours will be one I am sure to read this time, Lolly/Lauren. And may I mention that while I rarely comment I check your blog daily to see what lovely goodies (visual and written) you have for us? One of the best!

  25. Leann

yeah – scratch that. Switched thoughts in the middle of what I was writing.

    It was supposed to read,

“Every writer dreams of this moment – I know I sure do!”

  26. Debbi

  27. Bertha Mallard

Congratulations on being published. Conservation of our precious knits is is a great topic and one I’ve wondered about for some time. I know I will find excellent information when my copy of the magazine arrives.

  28. Rachel

Congrats L! I haven’t had a chance to do more than a cursory glance through the magazine, but I will definitely read the article. Nice feeling to see your name on an article isn’t it! :) I also found it interesting to see the word conservation…I’m so focused on one kind with my job/life (wildlife) that I forget how it can/should be applied to other important things in our lives.

  29. Becky

Congratulations, Lolly. I have been reading/lurking for a while, and have seen you on Ravelry, too. Love your stuff and you deserve it all!

  30. Maritza

  31. knittingnurse

When I got my issue and saw your name I squeeked in delight and ran to show hubby and son. They both were excited to see your name too. Then DS said, “why isn’t there a picture of Miss Lolly? She’s so pretty!” – Out of the mouths of babes.

  32. Michelle

Oh, how exciting Lolly! I just received my copy yesterday and have only had time to skim through it. Now I’m going to make it a point to read your article first!

  33. lucette

Looks like a fantastic article, I look forward to reading it.

  34. Rosa

Congrats! That is very special and something to be proud of. I will certainly check it out.

  35. Natalie

I’m so jealous of your publication! I was that same kid, the one that wrote all the time, that was encouraged by the grown ups. I keep writing this or that, looking for my adult voice and subject. Congratulations on finding yours! I just got my copy of the magazine, but I didn’t realize that was you… Prolly ’cause I only know you as Lolly Knitting Around. :)

  36. Beatriz

Congratulations on the published article. Your writing style flows so well, I can’t say I’m surprised. I have another good reason to pick up a copy of IK as soon as it hits the shelves.

  37. Risa

Congrats on your article! I hope to see more in the future :)

  38. Donna

Congratulations, Lolly – I really enjoyed the article!

  39. Poppins

Isn’t seeing your name in print so gratifying?! I’ve written a few homeschooling articles and a few other things, and it is just so much fun to play with words and then get such a finished product from it.

  40. Caron Arnold

    Wow! Congratulations!! : )

  41. Laura Baker

Congratulations on your article. I was taken by what you said about switching from fiction to non fiction. My 15 yr old granddaughter, who lives with me, is a phenomenal writer, fiction and poetry but we were talking yesterday about how someone goes about earning a living right out of college if all they want to do is write. I am going to direct her to your blog to see the possibilities firsthand.

  42. lynnewio

Congrats! That is just so awesome, especially with a mention on the cover!

  43. LeAnne

You must feel such a great sense of accomplishment! Congratulations.
