What an awesome day! I’m so jealous and thrilled for you.

The closest I’ve come to Super Mario was seeing his house when he lived down the street from my grandmother in Mt. Lebanon. And meeting the Malkins–icing on the cake. What a great day.

….oh, wow….. what a day! my hockey loyalties lie with another team, but ANY hockey fan would agree that you, as far as hockey fan-dom goes, had a FABULOUS day! The Malkins! Mario freaking Lemieux! I bow to you…..

OH WOW!!! I would have passed out!!! GO PENS!!!

Delurking to say “GO PENS!”. We are big Pittsburgh Penguins fans here. My husband has his game ritual and if it is working then you can’t change a thing until the next game. We have a Mario Lemieux autograph framed in our living room and my son has a Sidney Crosby autorgaphed picture that was mailed to us by Sidney with a handwritten note to me. This past Friday evening my niece went to her senior prom and wore and black, gold and white dress with a 71 on the back. It was gorgeous!

    Once again, Go Pens!

    Oh Lolly! How exciting!
Hockey isn’t really ‘big’ here in Australia, but we’ve been watching as much as we can fit in since we got cable TV, and we love the penguins! =)

There are days when the stars truly align. I don’t know how it happens–but that’s probably the way it’s supposed to be!

Even this Devils/Flyers fan would have been all oh my god oh my god oh my god it’s Mario Lemieux!

    Congratulations on the BEST.DAY.EVER!!!

I’d be foolishly star struck after the kind of night you had too! Of course I’d be foolish for Mario anyway. One of very few “stars” who I love.

  18. Ande

OMG! That was amazing! I almost wet my pants with excitement for you! LOL

Wow, that’s a pretty great day! We once had backstage passes to a Scorps concert, and all the people clamboring to get their autographs immediately switched gears when Peter Forsberg walked in. Lucky me, I was the only one with a camera so he posed for me so I’d send him pictures of him with the Scorpions.
