Commute Sing-along

The best way to unwind after a stressful day at work?  Sing-along to a fun poppy band on the drive home… and trying to get you husband to participate in the sing-along…

“A-Punk” by Vampire Weekend

…my original plan was my favorite song on the album, “Walcott”, but the camera wouldn’t really stay still (and Kris takes sharp turns!)  Lots of giggles and whistles!

…all for fun!

    Oh, “Walcott” is SUCH a singable song!(and now I’ll be singing it the rest of the evening, I guess) I love how deadpan Chris is, driving along, not succumbing to too much of the Vampire Weekend infectiousness…

    I have to admit, this totally reminded me of my husband, and “deadpan” is the perfect description Kim!!

    This was fantastic. I couldn’t put my finger on why, but it totally reminds me of me and my husband!

    This is fantastic! So much fun. Since the Tailor doesn’t like anything with an electric guitar (tragic!), I get a lot of deadpan looks whenever I’m singing along with something, too. You should see the reaction to my wicked air guitar…my talents are totally lost on my spouse. ;)

    My 4 yr old was entranced with your videos. We just spent about 10 min alternating videos. After each one he would point to the other and say “now do this one” and then bop along.
    He especially like the one with the camera falling all over.

    Oh, Lolly! I was totally rolling on the floor laughing with this video. This is so my hubby and me! Except, when I start jamming to a song that’s on, he’s ready to climb under the dashboard as those passing by are looking at me like I’m crazy.
