And what makes this auntie squeal with delight this Christmas Eve?

Seeing Baby V bedecked in the knit cardi I made her before she was born!

Christmas with Baby V

The smile means she loves it!

…and that is the best Christmas present this year!

Merry Christmas to you, Lolly! It’s fun to have a white Christmas here in MD for a change!

Merry Christmas to you, too! (btw, I went back and read your earthquake blog and it made me tear of several times. I’m such a sucker for love stories… that’s what it was, right?)

Merry Christmas Sweetie. I think it was a year ago today that I first read about your YTT plans. So glad I got to know you. Have a wonderful holiday.

Absolutely adorable! That is a great picture. I know from trying to get good pictures of my daughter that it can be difficult to capture those fun/cute moments. Merry Christmas Lolly!

    Merry Christmas! What adorable pictures.

I had a Cabbage Patch Kid that was very similar to that one! Got her several years after the main Christmas craze, but I loved her just the same. :)

Merry Christmas! And I just wanted to say that you’ve unintentionally solved a question of mine; my two year old was given a Cabbage Patch Doll this Christmas, and I kept staring at its maniacal grin, and thinking that mine didn’t have that terrible smile on her face…thank you for confirming that for me! :)

    Merry Christmas! :)

Each of those pictures is incredibly adorable in its own way. Little V – squee!!! So cute!! Also, it’s amazing how much you look like yourself in baby form. I hope you and the fam had a wonderful Christmas. I’m anxious to see if Kris got a special, handmade birthday gift…

Who would have known my cabbage patch would have been so popular all these years later..ohhh Coletta…where is she now? Isn’t that funny that I remember her given name on the birth certificate that came with her? What is even more funny is if everyone could see the matching outfits that you and I were wearing with the big cabbage patch heads on them, haha…do you remember that? And the rabbit fur coat I am wearing (sorry PETA) Bailey now plays in it! Thanks for posting. I enjoyed the memory.

Look at what a trooper you were in the first Christmas picture! You had an ear infection but, on amoxicillin, it just doesn’t matter. That was at Nana’s and Papa’s.

The picture of you and Jill N. is very cute. You had all your Christmas gear on and were so proud of it. Remember when being dressed alike was so cool? It made you part of something.

I love the snow man picture. The expression on Maryn’s face is priceless. We had such a good time in that little house in Worland, WY.

Do you remember when the last picture was taken? Who would know that it was snowing buckets outside, in southern NM? Christmas morning and out last one there in our wonderful home.

What can I say about Vi-Pi? She looks gleeful in her knitted cardi from her adoring Aunt Lolly.

Thanks for the memories. You were so cute and still are! Love You , Lolly-Doll. XXOO

i had that redheaded one, too! mine was ‘peggy sue’ but i officially renamed her ‘teri peggy’… for some reason, that name must have just felt right to me at 6 years old.
